It’s hard to believe that we were still in New Zealand just one week ago, spying on fantails and hiking to find kauri trees on the North Island.
Although we aren’t settled all the way into our house in Delaware, things are coming along, in large part due to the kindness of friends who helped with the transition back and to my parents.
Ev, Char, and Cal just got back from spending a few days with their grandparents, during which time James and I took care of homecoming details, like reconnecting natural gas service, buying mobile phones, cleaning up after the tenants who lived in our house while we were away, unpacking, etc. etc. etc.
